The animals were out at the Como Zoo this past weekend. The weather was BEAUTIFUL so the whole city was at the zoo. Very crowed which made for some crabby moments for us all but we had a ton of fun. The animals were out and active. Sparky had a practice session for his upcoming show season. That was a special perk for us all but especially for Jonathan because he LOVES Sparky the seal. One of the favorite parts of the zoo was the new rainforest display which featured a leaf cutter ant colony. Cool! Those little guys were extremely busy.

Maybe your next house "pet" should be an ant colony?!!
I can only imagine the kids breaking it somehow and the house then becoming infested with ants. Yipes!
