Train Park
There is a new park in Fridley that the boys and I like to go to with friends of ours. The one big bonus for the park is the railroad tracks that run past the park. Trains roll by regularly and are a big attraction for Jonathan and Eric. We like to count the cars and compare how fast they are going. Every once in a while, we get lucky and see two trains at the same time going opposite ways. That's always a hit. The train engineers wave and smile at the boys as they watch wide-eyed. Luckily, the train whistle is blown farther down the line.

Choo-choo! We'll have to go together! But Jenna will need a leash or she'll be right through that opening in the fence!

My kids have been tempted but they listen pretty well about this issue. There wasn't supposed to be an opening...hmmm.
